The April Fools Club are proud to announce that for the 2nd time they have been awarded the honour of Fundraisers of the year by the RAF Benevolent Fund.

This award was for the outstanding efforts of the team of cyclists who cycled the 313 miles from RAF Scampton to the Mohne Dam in Germany. It started on May 16th 2018 the same day that 19 Lancaster crews took to the skies for the famous raid on the German Dams.

The ride was over 4 days taking roughly the same route through Holland and Germany as the Lancaster's did and raised over £200k for the Benevolent fund.

The evening was hosted by the Benevolent Fund and compared by Peter Dickenson at the Plaisterers Hall in London on 27th June 2019
